Hire a Balloon Artist in Singapore
A balloon artist is the entertainer who turns a queue of restless guests into the part of your event people talk about afterwards.

One person, a pump, a bag of modelling balloons, and within a few minutes there is a line of children holding swords, flowers, puppies and butterflies. We supply balloon artists across Singapore for birthday parties, company family days, mall roadshows, weddings, school events and product launches.
What a Balloon Artist Actually Does on the Day
The job is faster and more physical than most clients expect. A working artist inflates, twists and hands over a finished balloon roughly every two minutes, all while holding a conversation with a five year old and keeping an eye on the queue behind. Over a two hour booking that is somewhere between 40 and 60 balloons.
Good artists read the room. At a quiet solemnisation they stay soft and move slowly between tables. At a mall activation they work loud and fast, because the point is to stop passing shoppers. Tell us which of those two your event is and we will send the right person.
Three Ways Clients Book a Balloon Artist
Roving. The artist walks the venue and makes balloons on request. This suits weddings, dinners and events where guests are seated or spread out. Nobody queues and the entertainment comes to them.
Station. The artist works from a fixed spot with a backdrop or signage. This is the format for mall roadshows, carnivals and open houses, because the queue itself becomes advertising for your booth.
Workshop. The artist teaches rather than performs, and every child leaves having made something themselves. Popular for school holiday programmes, preschools and company family days where parents want the children occupied for a full hour.
How Much a Balloon Artist Costs in Singapore
Expect S$300 to S$500 for one artist doing standard twisting over two hours, which covers most home birthday parties. Detailed sculpture work, where guests keep a larger piece, runs S$500 to S$800. Two artists working together for a corporate family day or a roadshow come in at S$800 to S$1,500. Adding a built balloon installation such as an arch or a photo backdrop alongside a live artist takes it to S$1,500 to S$2,500.
Travel anywhere in Singapore is included in those figures. What moves the number is the date, the guest count and whether you want a themed setup. Weekend mornings, the June and December school holidays and the fortnight around Chinese New Year are the first slots to go.
How Many Guests One Artist Can Cover
Use 25 children per hour as your planning figure for simple twisting. For a party of 20 children, one artist across two hours is comfortable and nobody waits long. Push past 40 children and a single artist becomes a bottleneck. At that point you either add a second artist or switch the format to a workshop, where everyone is occupied at the same time instead of queueing.
For adult events the ratio is different. Adults ask for fewer balloons, so one roving artist handles a dinner of 150 guests without difficulty.
Balloon Artist or Balloon Decorator
These are two different bookings and clients often mix them up when enquiring. A balloon artist is live entertainment. They arrive during your event and make balloons in front of guests. A balloon decorator arrives before anyone else, installs arches, columns, ceiling work and photo walls, then leaves before your first guest walks in.
If you want both, say so at the enquiry stage and we will quote them together, which usually works out better than booking them separately.
Where We Perform
We cover the whole island, from Tuas and Jurong through to Changi, Punggol and Sentosa. Typical venues include HDB void decks, condominium function rooms, shopping malls, hotel ballrooms, offices, preschools, community clubs and private homes.
Malls and managed condominiums usually ask for public liability documentation and an agreed load-in time. We deal with building management directly on that so it does not land on your desk.
What We Need From You
Four things get you an accurate quote in one message: the date and start time, the venue and postal code, roughly how many children or guests, and the occasion. If there is a theme, tell us. Artists can work to a colour scheme, match a cartoon character request or build around a brand.
On the day the artist needs a spot of about two metres by two metres, somewhere to plug in if a pump is being used, and shade if the event is outdoors. Balloons and heat do not get along, so an uncovered lawn at two in the afternoon is worth flagging early.
Balloon Artist Hire, Common Questions
How much does it cost to hire a balloon artist in Singapore?
One artist for two hours of standard balloon twisting costs S$300 to S$500. Detailed sculpture work runs S$500 to S$800. Two artists for a corporate family day or mall roadshow cost S$800 to S$1,500, and adding a balloon installation alongside a live artist reaches S$1,500 to S$2,500. Travel within Singapore is included.
How long should I book a balloon artist for?
Two hours is the standard booking and suits most birthday parties. One hour works for a short programme slot or a tea reception. Roadshows and family days usually run three to four hours, often with two artists rotating so neither is twisting continuously.
How many balloons can one artist make in an hour?
Around 25 to 30 simple designs an hour. More detailed sculptures take two to three minutes each, so the count drops to roughly 20 when guests are asking for complicated pieces.
Can the balloon artist match our theme or brand colours?
Yes. Give us the theme or the colour codes when you enquire and the artist brings the right stock. For corporate work we can build sculptures in brand colours or produce a branded giveaway design that guests photograph.
Do you cover HDB void decks, condos and shopping malls?
Yes, along with hotels, offices, preschools, community clubs and private homes across Singapore. For malls and managed condominiums we handle the public liability paperwork and load-in timing with building management.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks is usually enough. Give four to six weeks for weekend mornings, the June and December school holidays and the weeks either side of Chinese New Year. Last minute dates are sometimes possible, so it is worth asking.
